About the role#
Trex Company is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Winchester, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Support distribution processes and projects, including creating process maps, conducting time studies, and applying lean tools.
- Analyze data and present findings to help identify improvements within distribution workflows.
- Rotate through key areas of the distribution facility, such as shipping, inventory control, receiving, and kitting production.
- Work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Engage in mentorship and exchange feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program for Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation, or Industrial Engineering.
- Status as an upcoming junior or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Vizio.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
