About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Engineering intern, you will embed directly with our internal teams including sales, operations, customer success, and finance. Your goal is to identify operational bottlenecks and build the tools, agents, and automations required to unblock them. You will report to the CEO and work on projects that have a direct impact on our daily operations. This is a hands-on position where you will write code that colleagues rely on every day.
What you'll do#
- Map how work happens across teams to find high-leverage areas for automation.
- Build AI-powered internal tools, agents, and LLM-driven workflows for data cleanup, triage, and internal Q&A.
- Write Python and JavaScript to handle webhooks, integrations, and complex edge cases.
- Audit and re-architect existing no-code workflows and brittle automations into maintainable systems.
- Integrate disparate platforms including CRMs, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and internal databases.
- Create clean, trustworthy datasets and build operational dashboards for tracking funnel performance, engagement, and device reliability.
- Define and track KPIs while instrumenting data to ensure metrics are accurate and auditable.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to reconcile records across systems and provide actionable recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and documentation to ensure tool longevity and system health.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a co-op program.
- Experience with Python and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs outside of coursework.
- Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with relational data.
- Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience building dashboards or reports that others use.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agentic coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor is an asset.
- Experience with BI tools and platforms like Airtable, Zapier, Make, or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts, workflow orchestration, or MCP-based integrations.
- Understanding of funnel analytics and marketing attribution.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027, to April 30, 2027).
- Flexibility: We are open to 8-month or 12-month terms.
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
