About the role#
TRUMPF is looking for an intern to join the Industrial Engineering department in Farmington, Connecticut. This position offers practical experience to supplement your academic studies. You will work on-site for at least 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Lead individual improvement projects and assist with ongoing department initiatives.
- Analyze and improve production processes, including internal logistics, MRP, and final assembly.
- Support the team during new product introductions and product ramp-ups or ramp-downs.
- Develop, maintain, and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university or institution.
- Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Location: Farmington, Connecticut.
- Duration: Winter 2027 through Summer 2027 (January 2027 to May 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
