About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based in our New York City office. You will work on a single project with an assigned mentor, culminating in a final presentation. You will also have the opportunity to participate in reading circles and attend academic seminars.
What you'll do#
- Use the scientific method to develop investment models.
- Apply machine learning and other quantitative techniques to diverse datasets.
- Create and test complex investment ideas.
- Partner with engineers to test your theories.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Approximately one year remaining in your degree program.
- Intermediate programming skills in C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with an in-depth research project using real-world data.
- Ability to think independently and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- No prior finance background is required.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid and on-site.
- Compensation: $4,900 per week for Bachelor's students, $5,000 per week for Master's students, and $5,500 per week for PhD students.
- Status: Full-time internship.
