About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant for an auditing role. This is a part-time, temporary position that operates on a rolling basis. You will work in a hybrid environment and must reside and work within the state of California.
What you'll do#
- Perform desk audits and reviews of Long-term care Facility Disclosure Reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial reports, including Balance Sheets and Income Statements, to ensure they meet accounting standards.
- Communicate with facility financial officers, consultants, and CPAs to resolve technical and conceptual reporting errors.
- Update and correct financial disclosure reports using PC and web-based applications.
- Advise facility administrators on accounting and reporting system requirements.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college student currently attending classes during the regular term.
- You must be an Accounting major who is currently enrolled in or has completed ACCY 111.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. You may work up to 24 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
