About the role#
The IT QA Intern supports our testing team during active release cycles. You will gain hands-on experience in enterprise software testing within a manufacturing IT environment. This role involves executing test cases, maintaining documentation, and preparing test environments to ensure software quality.
What you'll do#
- Execute scripted test cases and document pass or fail results with clear evidence.
- Flag defects or unexpected behaviors to senior QA analysts for triage.
- Review and update outdated test case steps to reflect current system behavior.
- Map untested scenarios into draft test cases following team templates.
- Set up test data and reset or prepare test environments to reduce setup time.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Coursework or demonstrated interest in software testing, QA, or the software development lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures precisely.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks after initial training.
