About the role#
As a Data and Analytic Fellow, you will work directly with the Chief Medical Officer on projects that use data to assess quality, safety, and performance. You will engage with academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, and community health networks. This full-time, one-year fellowship begins in June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal analytic teams and healthcare providers on various initiatives.
- Support Operations and Quality Executives by fulfilling analytical requests focused on clinical improvement, such as mortality, length of stay, and readmissions.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and manage projects to help clinical staff develop performance strategies.
- Assist in managing and enhancing existing data-driven performance tools while helping develop new programs.
- Gain exposure to senior-level executives from over 100 academic medical centers and health systems.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s Degree in a field such as Data Science, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Statistics.
- A completed internship within a healthcare setting.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position is full-time and paid, with a salary range of $51,900 to $87,900.
