About the role#
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager Intern to support our team in Gainesville. You will work across the full project lifecycle, helping with design, estimating, billing, execution, change management, and closeout. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support contract review and execution.
- Handle project financial and operational setup in our software.
- Analyze project schedules and review progress.
- Manage the submittal process, from log setup to distribution among vendors and subcontractors.
- Maintain construction documents such as drawings, specifications, and requests for information.
- Assist with change management and estimating for project changes or out-of-scope work.
- Help with the procurement of materials.
- Lead project closeout tasks, including the creation of maintenance and operation manuals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate degree program or higher in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing resources like budgets and schedules under competing demands.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A professional, dependable, and punctual approach to work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work at a desk for extended periods.
