About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Tampa, Florida. You will work on-site to support project managers across the full lifecycle of construction projects. This includes design, estimating, billing, and project execution.
What you'll do#
- Support contract review and execution.
- Handle financial and operational project setup in software.
- Analyze project schedules and assist with the submittal process.
- Organize and distribute construction documents like drawings, specifications, and requests for information.
- Manage change orders and assist with estimating project changes or work outside the original scope.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials.
- Oversee project closeout tasks, including the creation of maintenance and operation manuals.
What you'll need#
- You must hold a High School Diploma or GED and be actively pursuing an associate degree or higher in a construction-related field.
- Proficiency in Procore and all Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience managing resources such as budgets, schedules, and materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, dependable, and organized approach to your work.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
