About the role#
Weatherford is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in Houston, Texas, gaining hands-on experience in Research and Development, Repair and Maintenance, or Manufacturing. This role provides professional growth and insight into the oil and gas industry.
What you'll do#
- Receive coaching and mentoring to understand our organization and projects.
- Complete internal projects to identify business improvements and customer outcomes.
- Learn our systems and processes to assist with project completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and network with global business leaders.
- Present your project outcomes to the Senior Leadership team.
- Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations.
- Provide feedback at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship or time restriction.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Solid project management skills.
- A detail-oriented, self-directed, and proactive approach.
