About the role#
Web Industries is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Fort Wayne facility. This is a full-time, paid internship. You will work under the direction of the Engineering Manager to support manufacturing improvements, process documentation, and equipment development. This role involves collaboration across departments including operations, sales, and quality. Successful completion of this internship may lead to future permanent employment in a process engineering role.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of manufacturing improvement projects.
- Provide daily technical support for key production equipment.
- Document manufacturing procedures and best practices.
- Perform data analysis to support problem solving.
- Provide general plant engineering support.
- Identify and lead improvement initiatives.
- Maintain focus on safety and promote a safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a B.S. degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of college experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage complexity.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- U.S. citizenship is required to comply with government regulations.
