About the role#
West Fraser is hiring students for the Weekend Maintenance Department at our Quesnel Sawmill. This is an entry-level position focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will report directly to the weekend supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Remove plant debris throughout the facility.
- Support general team operations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols at all times.
What you'll need#
- A safety-first attitude.
- Flexible availability for shift work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver license.
- The ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude or mobile equipment experience are considered assets.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is helpful.
