About the role#
Wilson & Company is hiring a College Intern for our Phoenix office. This is a paid, year-round position focused on Transportation Engineering. You will work on real-world projects alongside experienced engineers to gain practical experience in the field. This role offers the chance to explore a career in areas like highway, municipal roadway, and traffic engineering.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to active client projects.
- Assist project managers and collaborate with partners to develop designs.
- Solve complex engineering problems.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Participate as an active member of the project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering program.
- Interest in a career within Transportation Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a dependable work ethic.
- Ability to manage your time between school, personal commitments, and this internship.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The role is on-site with no remote work options.
- You must be able to commute to the office from school.
- This position does not provide work visa sponsorship.
- Hourly pay is between $22.00 and $24.00.
