About the role#
Winland Foods is looking for a Marketing Intern to support our corporate team during the summer of 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in the business side of food manufacturing. You will assist with market research, product development, and daily operations while working alongside various departments.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze market data, trends, and customer preferences to help identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to develop new products and optimize existing lines.
- Support the Corporate Business Unit Manager with production scheduling, supply chain coordination, and inventory management.
- Work with finance, sales, and marketing teams to collect data and generate insights.
- Maintain databases and prepare reports on key performance indicators for senior management.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including document preparation and meeting coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher, both overall and within your major.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and in a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
- The term runs from May to August 2027.
- The role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.
