About the role#
Wipfli is hiring for a Summer 2028 Audit Internship based in South Portland, Maine. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work directly with professionals across the firm to support client engagements and build your skills as a business advisor.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures according to professional standards.
- Communicate with engagement leaders to resolve testing problems and discuss open items.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates in a professional and accurate manner.
- Develop technical competency with GAAP.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Progress toward eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
