About the role#
The Humanitarian Transformation Intern will support digital and process transformation across our humanitarian operations. You will work with teams in disaster management, technology, and analytics to improve how we respond to crises and serve vulnerable communities. This role offers exposure to international relief work while building technical skills in automation and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test low-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Create productivity solutions to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
- Write user guides and documentation to support the adoption of new tools.
- Research emerging technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities.
- Conduct comparative assessments of potential technology solutions.
- Build demonstrations and pilot solutions for humanitarian challenges.
- Collect and interpret project data to support decision-making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States with a valid Social Security Number.
- You are a current student or a recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate program within the last two years.
- You can commit to at least 30 hours per week.
- You are willing to use your own electronic devices and allow the installation of endpoint security software.
- You agree to adhere to the World Vision International Christian Statement of Faith.
- Relevant fields of study include International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
Location & details#
- This is a remote role based in the United States.
- The internship term runs from January 25, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- This position is paid via a monthly stipend of $800.
