About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in York, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site with our Property and Buildings team to gain hands-on experience on real projects. The program runs for 12 weeks, starting May 17, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering tasks to build your technical and professional skills.
- Learn the basic principles of mechanical engineering.
- Assist with field work, project research, and preliminary design calculations.
- Help prepare cost estimates, design plans, and special provisions.
- Maintain project documentation and complete assigned training.
- Follow company policies, including the Code of Conduct, and make ethical decisions regarding resources.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, office software, and technical writing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to follow direction from managers and mentors.
- A commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
- Prior experience through internships or campus leadership is a plus.
