About the role#
As a Gas Operations Intern, you will work as a dedicated area specialist for gas operations. This role focuses on Gas Emergency Response and Compliance work. You will join our team for the Summer 2027 term, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs. This position is paid and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to identify trends and target areas for key improvements.
- Assist local operations teams with logistical improvements.
- Enhance business processes and improve application functionality.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase automation in daily operational activities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student with Junior standing or higher as of Fall 2027.
- You are pursuing a degree in Business, Emergency Preparedness, or Engineering (including Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).
- You have a personal vehicle to travel to various work sites.
- You have a genuine interest in the energy industry.
Location & details#
- Locations: Denver, Arvada, and Lakewood, Colorado.
- Schedule: Full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours per week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours per week).
- Start Date: May 31, 2027.
