About the role#
Xsolla is moving to an AI-first development model. This internship is for engineers who want to build real tools and integrations rather than observe from the sidelines. You will work on internal AI initiatives and proof-of-concept builds for our APIs. This role involves shipping code that reaches actual users, including internal teams and external game developers. You will work alongside senior engineers and a global cohort of interns to refine your workflows.
What you'll do#
- Partner with senior engineers to identify and remove friction in our development processes.
- Build applications and integrations using Xsolla APIs and SDKs.
- Ship production-ready code that is adopted by internal teams or external customers.
- Use agentic coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code as your primary development method.
- Participate in weekly lightning-talk demos to share what you have built and how you used AI to solve problems.
- Work in an environment with minimal process where you are responsible for defining and building solutions.
What you'll need#
- Genuine passion for building, evidenced by side projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Real AI fluency with agentic coding tools and the ability to explain how you use them to verify your work.
- A bias toward action when facing ambiguous problems.
- Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Communications.
