About the role#
Xsolla is shifting to an AI-first approach. We are looking for interns to help drive this transition by building real tools and integrations. You will work on internal AI initiatives and build proof-of-concept projects using our APIs. This is not a shadow-and-observe role. You will ship code that reaches internal teams and external users while working alongside senior engineers and a global cohort of fellow interns.
What you'll do#
- Partner with senior engineers to identify friction points and build AI-based solutions.
- Develop applications and integrations on top of Xsolla APIs and SDKs.
- Ship code that matters to real users rather than working on throwaway exercises.
- Use agentic coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code as your primary way of working.
- Participate in weekly lightning-talk demos to share your progress and AI workflows.
- Work with minimal process by taking a problem, finding a solution, and building it.
What you'll need#
- A genuine passion for building things, demonstrated through side projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Real AI fluency, including experience using agentic coding tools to build and verify functional software.
- A bias toward action, meaning you start building before asking for a formal spec.
- Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mechanical Engineering program.
