    About the role#

    Young Life Military offers an internship for individuals with a desire to serve and grow in their faith. Interns work alongside experienced staff at Club Beyond to support military teens. This role involves building community, modeling personal faith, and creating spaces where teens can develop friendships and find support. You will be based at a military installation and expected to live within the local community.

    What you'll do#

    • Meet weekly with your supervisor using team agenda tools.
    • Lead and participate in Club Beyond clubs and small group ministry.
    • Develop and follow a 90-day personal growth plan.
    • Attend Chapel on the installation.
    • Attend and contribute to volunteer leader meetings.
    • Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement.
    • Learn to recruit and train new leaders to build a diverse team.
    • Assist with community outreach to reach new teens.
    • Lead and equip volunteers for middle and high school ministry.
    • Maintain communication with personal donor partners through monthly updates.
    • Discuss financial support raising with your supervisor.

    What you'll need#

    • High school graduation at least 2 years prior to the start date.
    • A deep love for Christ and for teens.
    • Ability to communicate clearly.
    • A teachable heart and strong initiative.
    • Energy and experience with small event planning.
    • Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
    • Willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.
    • Ability to respect and engage with military culture.

    • Location: Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Commitment: Full-time.
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship. Participants are responsible for raising their own salary, ranging from $1,160 to $4,000 depending on the specific duration and location.
    • Term: Rolling.
