About the role#
The NYC Summer Intern Experience is a full-time, paid program for the summer of 2026. This role is based on-site in New York. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or Human Resources.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will serve on a local volunteer leader team to work directly with students. You will also participate in all internship cohort meetings and attend every training session provided by the program. You will meet with your mentor on a weekly basis to discuss your progress and provide evaluative feedback to your cohort lead.

Candidates must be ready to serve as a volunteer leader with students and attend all required trainings and cohort meetings. You will need to meet weekly with your mentor and provide feedback on the program. Please note that Young Life requires all employees and volunteers to sign a Statement of Faith and profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. You must be willing to fulfill ministry functions and abide by all organizational policies.
