About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff I in Woodburn, Oregon. This is a full-time, paid position that requires personal fundraising of up to 50 percent. You will work on-site as part of a mission focused on proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supporting adolescents in their faith.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual development.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual growth activities.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain consistent communication with donor partners.
- Engage in direct ministry, including contact work, club events, and discipleship.
- Participate in team leadership to implement camping strategies for the school year and summer.
- Assist with administrative tasks and office support as needed.
- Attend required regional and area training events to build ministry skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in fields like Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Philosophy, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
- Proven relational skills when working with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional matters.
- A commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a minister of the Gospel.

- Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $15.55 to $17, based on your experience and education.
