About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member in Manhattan, Kansas. This is a part-time, paid position that focuses on ministry, leadership development, and personal growth. You will work under the supervision of the area director to gain experience in ministry skills while supporting the local team.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Engage in contact work, club, and Campaigners.
- Assist with office administration and general business tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree, with a preference for majors such as Psychology, Communications, or Sociology.
- You need proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- You must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and be willing to sign the Young Life Statement of Faith.
