About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for those who want to serve and grow in their faith. You will work alongside an experienced staff member at a U.S. military installation. This role focuses on Club Beyond, an outreach-oriented ministry for military teens. You will build community, model your faith, and help teens develop friendships and hope. This is an on-site, paid role that requires you to live near the community where you serve.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review ministry goals.
- Lead and participate in Club Beyond club meetings and small group sessions.
- Create a 90-day personal growth plan for your spiritual development.
- Attend Chapel on base and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Recruit, train, and build a leadership team.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their work.
- Develop community outreach programs for teens who are not involved in church.
- Provide discipleship to teens and equip volunteers for youth ministry.
- Send monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support goals with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma earned at least two years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- A teachable heart and strong initiative.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Energy and experience with small event planning.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- Willingness to raise part of your budget through personal support.
- Majors in Sociology, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration are preferred.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship. You are responsible for raising a portion of your salary, ranging from $1,160 to $4,000 depending on your specific location and duration.
