About the role#
As a Business Technology Analyst intern, you will gain experience designing customer information systems, mobile applications, and websites. You will work under direct supervision to gather business requirements and analyze technical solutions for software development projects. The work focuses on creating efficiencies and adding value to company operations. You will gain exposure to tools and programs including Agile, SQL, SAP, and SharePoint.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business problems to determine how automated systems can provide solutions.
- Provide technical assistance to project teams to evaluate, design, and specify procedures.
- Define business requirements and assess the impact of projects.
- Prepare scope documents, system specifications, and design recommendations.
- Facilitate data capture and tracking requirements to improve business processes.
- Develop test plan components and scripts for information systems.
- Coordinate client user testing and document the results.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business, Information Technology, English, Mathematics, or an analytical discipline.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- An expected graduation date in 2029 or 2030.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a team, manage multiple assignments, and maintain confidentiality.
- Initiative and the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.
