About the role#
Activision is hiring MBA students for 12-week summer internships in 2027. This program provides hands-on experience through projects that impact our game development and business operations. Interns work directly with internal teams to solve real problems and contribute to our ongoing success.
What you'll do#
Interns join one of two tracks based on their background and interests:
Tech Strategy
- Bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Evaluate technology investments and improve development pipelines.
- Analyze large-scale systems to drive operational efficiencies.
- Support decisions that influence how games are built and delivered.
Studio Strategy & Operations
- Turn data into actionable insights for studio leadership.
- Build executive presentations and analyze operational trends.
- Support critical business decisions and workforce planning.
- Improve internal processes across development, publishing, and finance functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Availability for a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Santa Monica, California.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Learning agility and the ability to manage time effectively.
Tech Strategy Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, engineering, business analytics, or technology-focused business roles.
Studio Strategy & Operations Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, or business operations.
- Experience using Excel for financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
