    About the role#

    Aldridge Electric is hiring a Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Des Plaines, Illinois. You will assist the project management team with operational and administrative tasks that support project planning, execution, and completion.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate with the project team on daily tasks.
    • Promote jobsite safety and work with the Safety Department to address issues.
    • Support the corporate quality program by tracking administrative components like pre-job planning templates and task lists.
    • Manage project logistics including procuring tools, ordering and tracking materials, and documenting project costs.
    • Interface with subcontractors and customers to support project execution.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a junior or senior in a college or university.
    • Pursuing a degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • A genuine interest in the construction industry.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills with a hands-on, team-oriented attitude.

    • Location: Des Plaines, IL.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and market conditions.
