About the role#
Aldridge Electric is hiring a Project Management Intern to support project planning, execution, and closure. This is a full-time, paid position based in Illinois. You will work on-site and assist the project management team with various operational and administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with the project team on daily tasks.
- Promote jobsite safety and work with the Safety Department to address issues.
- Support the quality program by tracking administrative components, task lists, and pre-job planning.
- Procure tools and manage the ordering and tracking of materials.
- Document project costs and communicate with subcontractors and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, specifically in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on, team-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Basic computer knowledge and a genuine interest in the construction industry.
