About the role#
As a Cybersecurity Intern within Enterprise Technology Services, you will join a 10-week Summer Internship Program. You will contribute to work that protects information systems, customer data, and digital assets. You will work alongside cybersecurity teams, product partners, and software developers to learn how security controls and threat detection capabilities are implemented and improved.
What you'll do#
- Monitor security systems and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Triage and investigate security or operational issues to determine root causes and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with software development and product teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, security technologies, and AI-enabled security risks.
- Use AI-enabled cybersecurity tools to support threat detection, alert triage, analysis, and investigation activities.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration, to be earned before the full-time start date.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, information security, application security, network security, cloud security, or technology risk concepts.
- Interest in scripting or automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
