About the role#
The Dialogue Facilitator position supports the Project on Civic Dialogue at the School of Public Affairs. You will help run dialogue programming and lead sessions within classrooms. This is a part-time role with a schedule of 4 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with dialogue programming organized by the Project on Civic Dialogue.
- Facilitate dialogue events directly for the project.
- Lead sessions within classrooms as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be an enrolled undergraduate student at American University.
- You must have completed the 1-credit course Dialogue for Civic Engagement.
- Availability for part-time work.
- Relevant academic backgrounds include Political Science, Communications, Sociology, Philosophy, or History.

- This position is located on the American University main campus in Washington, DC.
- The role is part-time and pays $18.40 per hour.
- Hiring is on a rolling basis.
