    About the role#

    The Well-Being Corner Support Assistant helps manage the daily operations of the Well-Being Corner. You will serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while assisting with administrative and operational tasks.

    What you'll do#

    • Greet individuals as they enter the facility and manage appointments.
    • Oversee the use of equipment and resources, including yoga mats, massage chairs, and gaming systems.
    • Monitor facility spaces to ensure users follow established policies and guidelines.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of equipment and room setups.
    • Assist staff with the creation and distribution of health education materials.
    • Support outreach activities, presentations, and wellness initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a currently enrolled student at American University.
    • You must have a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
    • Interest in fields such as Public Health, Psychology, or Communications is helpful.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located on the American University campus in Washington, DC.
    • This is a part-time role requiring 15 hours per week.
    • The pay rate is $18.40 per hour.
    • Work shifts are available Monday through Sunday during the academic semester and summer sessions.
