About the role#
The Dance Program Assistant supports the Dance Program Director and faculty with administrative and production tasks. This is a part-time position requiring 6 hours of work per week. Compensation is $18.40 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Respond to emails regarding general inquiries about the Dance Program.
- Greet prospective students and lead tours of the dance facilities.
- Participate in Preview Days.
- Support production activities, including auditions and rehearsal planning.
- Prepare performance materials by handling copying tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current American University student.
- You must be a recipient of a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
