About the role#
The Quantitative Support Team is looking for an American University student to join the team for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time position focused on software development and data analysis within the Mathematics and Statistics support department.
What you'll do#
- Update and improve the Quantitative Tutoring Lab proprietary software, which is written in JavaScript.
- Conduct data analysis tasks.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at American University.
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis.
- A recommendation from a faculty member.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at the American University main campus in Washington, DC.
- The position is part-time, requiring 2 hours of work per week.
- Compensation is between $18.40 and $23.50 per hour.
