About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within Amgen’s Technology and Medical organizations during the summer of 2027. You will work on software development, configuration, and design tasks that align with industry standards for performance and reliability. The role requires a full-time commitment and is based remotely within the United States.
What you'll do#
- Develop, test, debug, and document application components.
- Create project plans to track progress.
- Translate basic business processes into functional programming logic.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Completion of at least one year of study before the internship starts and plans to continue enrollment afterward.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
- Degree concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Coursework in areas such as software development, database modeling, Agile or Scrum methodologies, web design, or cloud application management.
- Ability to operate independently and work across functional lines.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and project management skills.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Availability to commit to potential full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The base pay for this position is $28.87 per hour.
