    About the role#

    As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Ardurra, you will work under supervision to support electrical engineering projects. You will gain hands-on experience by applying standard engineering techniques to tasks like power distribution, lighting system design, and equipment selection. This role involves working alongside experienced engineers on various building and infrastructure projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with electrical design tasks including power distribution, lighting systems, load calculations, and equipment selection.
    • Support engineers with project data collection, technical calculations, reports, and specifications.
    • Review electrical drawings, equipment schedules, and project specifications for accuracy.
    • Conduct field investigations and site visits to document existing electrical systems.
    • Use engineering and design software to assist with system layouts, calculations, and drafting.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • A basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and building electrical systems.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.

    • This position is located in Asheville, North Carolina.
    • The role is on-site and full-time.
    • This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
