About the role#
This is a full-time internship based at the Thomas Hill Power Plant. You will work with the Environmental, Health, and Safety department to gain hands-on experience in compliance, safety programs, and fieldwork. This position may require occasional travel to other locations for work assignments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and tracking compliance programs.
- Update environmental documents.
- Conduct EH&S inspections and audits.
- Participate in SPCC and SWPPP inspections.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental, Environmental Engineering, or a related applied science field.
- Completion of at least two years toward a bachelor degree.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A solid background in statistics and analysis.
