About the role#
Auto-Owners Insurance is hiring a Business and Quality Analyst Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Lansing, Michigan. You will work with our Corporate Customer Focus Team to bridge the gap between our business objectives and technical execution.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams.
- Lead meetings with business, technology, and quality assurance groups.
- Define project requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and analysis of existing system documentation.
- Develop business requirements and associated business rules.
- Work with software tools to gather and document requirements.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to perform high-level testing, including writing test plans and reporting results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college, entering your junior or senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize and interpret data.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use a PC and standard business software.
- Capability to handle multiple assignments at once.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
