About the role#
We are hiring a Student Food Service Worker to join our team at the University of Mount Union. This is a paid, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly, following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas.
- Follow guest service procedures, including greeting guests.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
- Maintain a steady pace while multitasking.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate with team members and other departments professionally.
- Professionalism when working with managers, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Current enrollment as a student, specifically in Business Administration.
