About the role#
We are hiring a Student Food Service Worker to join our team at PennWest California. This position offers flexible hours designed to fit around your school schedule. You will receive a free meal during each shift.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly while monitoring temperature requirements and spoilage.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas using proper service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize your workstation and equipment.
- Multitask to maintain an efficient workflow.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with team members and other departments.
- Professional conduct when interacting with supervisors, managers, customers, and vendors.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
