About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker for the food trailer at Youngstown State University. This is an on-site, paid, full-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature requirements and monitoring for spoilage.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in the dining and retail areas using proper service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize your workstation and equipment.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while keeping up with the pace of the kitchen.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.

- Location: Youngstown, Ohio.
- This role is open to students, particularly those majoring in Nutrition.
