About the role#
This 10-week Manufacturing Management Internship provides hands-on experience within a plant environment. You will work alongside experienced leaders to explore key operational areas and contribute to projects that impact the facility. This role is based in Findlay, Ohio, and requires regular on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Learn how a manufacturing facility runs by participating in daily plant operations.
- Lead or support projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements through cross-departmental collaboration.
- Develop leadership skills while gaining exposure to production and support teams.
- Attend professional development activities.
- Meet regularly with plant leaders through weekly check-ins and mentorship opportunities.
- Follow all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline at an accredited 4-year university.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing and entering the workforce directly after graduation.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and handle 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when needed.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
