About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work with the Racine Manufacturing Operations team to support engineering processes and production lines. You will gain hands-on experience in process optimization and apply engineering principles to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in our plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering processes and production line operations at the Racine facility.
- Use root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions to production challenges.
- Contribute to process improvement projects that enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting to support decision-making in manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and operational goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel skills and basic data analysis experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in agriculture, construction, or landscaping is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.69 - $27.81 per hour.
