About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position within the Baylor University Ticket Sales department. You will work alongside full-time staff and other students to manage ticket operations for athletic events. This role is intended for students pursuing a professional career in sports ticket sales.
What you'll do#
- Sell a full menu of ticket options including Football, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball season tickets.
- Reach out to current season ticket holders and prospective buyers through outbound call campaigns.
- Manage inbound inquiries via phone and email.
- Assist with ticket sales during face-to-face appointments, in-stadium meetings, and special events.
- Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
- Perform general business operations and project tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Interest in a professional career within sports ticket sales.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
- Reliability regarding attendance and compliance with University policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Simpson Athletics and Academic Center, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Minimum 10 hours per week.
