About the role#
Baylor Athletics is looking for a student worker to assist with sports marketing, event production, and game presentation. This position provides hands-on experience for students interested in the sports industry. You will support full-time staff with event operations and help create an engaging environment for fans at athletic competitions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with in-venue game presentation, including contests, promotions, and giveaways.
- Support event operations such as preparation and execution.
- Engage with fans and build relationships with the local community at events like Kids Zones.
- Distribute marketing materials like flyers and posters on campus and in the community.
- Participate in professional development opportunities with athletics staff.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Baylor student with a High School diploma or GED.
- You must be available to work all home football games.
- You must be available for a few shifts during winter break.
- This role is open to students in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Waco, Texas.
- The role is on-site and pays $7.25 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 10 hours per week.
