About the role#
The Animal Birth Control Clinic is looking for a student to help with marketing and communications. You will work with the Executive Director and the communications team to capture and create content that tells the clinic's story. This position is open to students with a Federal Work-Study award.
What you'll do#
- Capture photos and videos at the clinic, in the community, and during special events.
- Edit and deliver visual content for print and digital marketing materials.
- Manage the clinic's social media calendar and create content for campaigns and events.
- Build and organize a photo and video library.
- Maintain the clinic's brand consistency across all projects.
- Assist with community service tasks and outreach efforts.
What you'll need#
- Must have Federal Work-Study awarded through Financial Aid.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Experience with photography and video editing for web and social media.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Strong writing and speaking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Majors in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Public Health are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Terms: Summer 2026 and Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with up to 15 hours per week available remotely.
- Pay: $12 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, paid.
