About the role#
The Athletics Creative team at Baylor University produces visual content for 19 NCAA Division I sports programs. As a student designer, you will work with full-time staff to create original projects for social media, in-venue displays, apparel, and print. This role provides hands-on experience in a collegiate athletics environment.
What you'll do#
- Design graphics for social media, promotional campaigns, game day themes, and other athletics content.
- Assist with the creation of print, digital, apparel, and environmental design projects.
- Collaborate with creative staff, sport programs, and internal departments to develop visual concepts.
- Manage projects from initial concept through final production while following brand standards.
- Handle multiple assignments at once and meet deadlines.
- Support special creative initiatives as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Baylor University.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- A strong grasp of layout, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- A team-first mentality and a willingness to support colleagues.
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating your design skills.

- Location: McLane Stadium, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Fall 2028.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week with flexible hours.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
