About the role#
This role supports faculty, staff, and students with their research and teaching needs. You will manage the delivery of library materials across campus and to off-site locations. This position involves both physical delivery tasks and administrative office work within the library system.
What you'll do#
- Drive the library van and Gator ATV to deliver materials to academic departments.
- Retrieve items from library shelves and off-site storage locations.
- Scan books and journals to fulfill requests for patrons and other libraries.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including USPS, UPS, and courier packages.
- Check library databases for journal holdings and manage digital article files.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the department.
What you'll need#
- A valid United States driver's license held for at least 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Enrollment as a student in Business Administration, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Waco, Texas, at the Moody Memorial Library.
- Work occurs on-site during the Fall 2026 term.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm.
- This is a paid, part-time student employee position.
