About the role#
Baylor University is hiring a student Sports Photographer and Videographer for the Campus Recreation department. This role is focused on capturing photos and videos that represent the events, programs, and community at the McLane Student Life Center. It is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Attend assigned Campus Rec events, such as intramurals, club sports, and fitness activities.
- Capture photo and video content that reflects the energy of the event.
- Follow creative direction and shot lists provided by the Communications Manager.
- Edit photos and organize content weekly in shared folders.
- Stay current on visual content trends like sports photography and short-form video.
What you'll need#
- Experience with photo and video editing software.
- Comfort with light editing in tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or CapCut.
- Ability to organize files and follow naming conventions.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
- Enrollment in majors like Media Studies, Communications, or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Waco, Texas.
- The schedule requires a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Compensation is $10 per hour.
