    About the role#

    This position supports the daily operations of the Clothesline store at Mission Waco. You will work in a retail environment assisting customers, managing donations, and helping with store marketing. This role is open to students eligible for Federal Work-Study.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage retail sales and operate the cash register.
    • Sort, tag, and organize incoming donations.
    • Create window and floor displays to showcase merchandise.
    • Promote the store through social media channels.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
    • Assist with online sales tasks as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Knowledge of social media platforms for advertising.
    • Ability to create engaging retail displays.
    • Capability to perform physical tasks like sorting donations.
    • Reliability and access to transportation to the off-campus site.
    • A friendly approach to greeting customers and accepting donations.
    • Enrollment in majors such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Waco, Texas.
    • Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
    • Term: Fall 2026 with rolling availability.
    • Compensation: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour.
